About this experience
For those who want more than the 2-hour Christian Heritage Tour, this 4-hour extended tour covers the same material in the morning, then after lunch continues to the Covenanters' Prison and the National Museum — home to many of Scotland's most important Christian artefacts, including Alexander Peden's mask, the National Covenant, early Celtic Christian crosses and the Chi-Rho silverware dated around AD 410. The route passes the statue of David Hume, St Giles', John Knox's grave and John Knox's House, unearthing stories of reformers, Covenanters, preachers and scientists along the Royal Mile.
