St Michael's, Michaelchurch Escley

Sanctuary is provided inside the church. St Michael's is a large church for such a small community and is well known for its medieval wall paintings. Nestled in the shadow of the Black Mountains next to the Escley Brook, it's a peaceful setting for a good night's sleep. Pilgrims can find their evening meal at The Bridge Inn nearby, which also sells the local gin made in a distillery just opposite the church. Capacity: 12 pilgrims max. Suggested donation: £22.
